for my project I need to go from 5V arduino RX/TX to 3.3V RX/TX from a bluegiga module. A very common problem and one that I usually solve with a level shifter. However at the moment I don't have one lying around and I was wondering if I could use a simple voltage divider instead. It would probably work at low baudrates, but would it still work reliably at higer baudrates?
Hmmm, I probably have some leftovers, good idea (and if not they are easy to find). I don't need bidirectional anyway, I'm only planning on using UART.
Thanks for idea!
I guess it would lead to less noise than a simple voltage divider.
