hello, I plan to make a midi controller with nano, but I can't find a serial midi converter that works on mac os monterey, does anyone have a solution?

If you get stuck, you could consider a hardware solution:

IMHO, if you're willing to buy hardware like a USB MIDI adapter, it's much better to buy a suitable microcontroller instead.
The Arduino Nano is a bad choice for a USB MIDI controller project. Consider using an Arduino Micro or a Teensy (LC, 3.x, 4.x) instead. See Control Surface: MIDI over USB for a more extensive list of boards that support MIDI over USB natively (i.e. without requiring any software or hardware converters).
You are completely right. Just mentioned them as options that could work with nano, in a pinch.
