IDE 2.3.2 on Win 10
Minor annoyance but when the program is downloaded and run, I have to select Serial Monitor on the tools drop down twice to get it to come up.
I usually open the Serial monitor by using the easily available icon top/right of the IDE window, but a single click on the menu item works just as well for me

Serial monitor is a toggle. Invoke once and it appears, invoke again and it closes.
Usually the serial monitor tab will become visible if it was visible before the compile / upload. However if there was an error, the IDE will stay on the output tab page and after the next successful compile / upload the serial monitor tab page will not be selected (because it was not selected due to the output tab page being in front).
