Serial monitor output

Hey this might be a simple and stupid question, but i simply can't figure it out.

How do you get more columns in the serial monitor?

I have two sensor numbers right now and are using Serial.println() to get the numbers.

The numbers are coming one at a time, crazy fast, so i can't see which is which.

It could be nice to make it say:

thisSensor = this number | nextSensor = next number

Please help...

use print() instad of println() and a suitable number of spaces

Thanks for the answer Udo Klein, but it didn't work the way i thought it.

using print(), the numbers just keeps going to the right, instead of down.

Any other ideas?

use print() instad of println() and a suitable number of spaces

For the FIRST number. Keep using println() for the second.

Add a delay() in loop() to slow stuff down.

Ok fantastic it works.

But what can i use for spaces?

Right now they are too close to each other.

But what can i use for spaces?

Cut and paste some of these: " "

Cut and paste some of these: " "

Sounds right, but i can't figure out where to place it.

Nevermind i figured it out by using char myString[] and then .print()

Thanks for the help

You can also use the tab character.

Serial.print('\t');
