This link has a lot of useful information: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=windows+terminal+program

I’m a real fan of Brey terminal program. It’s a small standalone EXE program that even works on my new windows 8.1 laptop. Lots of features and power.

PuTTY

Probably the easiest one to use and understand.

It lets you see what data is being sent over a connection, most commonly used is serial (com ports).

THANKS retrolefty AND ALL OTHERS! I am trying Brey terminal, but it is missing some words or characters: You can see below, first 4 lines are right format, but the others look crazy!

There is no flow control with Arduinos.

If you send data as fast as possible then some can be lost.

So, how can we fix this issue?

Implement some flow control (handshaking) or change the serial speed.
