Well! Its good to be right.... Don't you just love being right with all of your thoughts and stupid presumptions.
No! I don't mind bragging when I found and proved my initial thoughts.
So here is what I did to solve the issue. I connected an R3 with a software serial link as the receiving device and pumped the output to it instead of the window desktop. The motor ran without fault, but I still have to prove if the system runs with the desktop removed from the equation. I'll have to do that tomorrow night. Can't have all the success in one night..... I will only pray that when the R3 is removed from the windows system that the motor continues to run without hitches/glitches.
Saving that for another night!
