I have a MKR Wifi 1010 that is disconnecting and reconnecting. It's doing it on my PC and Mac. Tried several other cables and that's not the cause either. My other MKR Wifi's are working as normal. At one point, I've managed to load the "Blink" scketch, but now I can't get the serial port to stay connected long enough to load anything else.
This is occurring regardless of the IDE used (1.8, 2.0, Web, etc...)
Is there a way to further diagnose whats going on or perform a hard reset of sorts?
No. It will do this even with nothing attached (other than the USB). I even removed it from the MKR relay shield and tried in a standard breadboard and even all alone.
I have this same problem sometimes but it randomly goes away and comes back without me changing any wiring or anything. Thought maybe my board was just a little janky but I wonder if this is a semi-common problem?
A search through this forum only showed one instance where someone else had the same thing happening. It went unresolved and the topic was automatically closed.
Unless you are an expert with a full test bench, your chances of fixing it are remote. Best you can hope for, is to prove that it has a problem, by swapping it with a known good board, and confirming a difference.
