If I understand you correctly, you have resistors with values between 731 and 1000k and you need 2.472k?
Dunno how much ohm's law/electronics stuff you familiar with, but I'll let you do the math so you can learn how to (teach a man to fish, you know the story)
when in series, resistor's resistances add up (so if there are two resistors in series, R1 + R2 gives you total resistance)
when in parallel, it's less fun:
1/Rtotal = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + ...
so add up the multiplicative inverses of the resistances in parallel, then get the multiplicative inverse of the result - this will give you the total resistance in the parallel circuit.
