Anything over 115200 baud on a normal Arduino has problems with the divider. Obviously some baud rates work better than others, but in general the "standard" baud rates over 115200 have an error margin too great to work reliably. Faster boards, like the Due, don't have such a problem as the clock rate is higher and gets divided down much finer.
