So, my school wants to take a digital cable, and translate that to a server based web stream, I believe this would be feasible with an arduino considering the things I've seen these little microcontrollers do, but am not entirely sure if it would be possible. I am apart of my schools "geek squad" and am also a student in the graduating class, I would really like to finish this project before the end of the school year. they want to do this because all of the students that stream march madness on the wifi bog down the internet, so they would like a internal server based stream, I'm not entirely sure how to explain it well but it should get the idea across. and thanks in advanced.
What you describe is called a "caching proxy" and an Arduino is wholly inappropriate.
