I am trying to control a quadruped over RF. I am using the VirtualWire library and so i am also using the ServoTimer2 library to avoid the timing conflicts that arise while using the standard servo library. The problem is that ServoTimer2 only supports up to 8 servos and I need a minimum of 12. The quadruped has three in each leg and in the future i want to add cameras and such to it. So i would like to be able to have more then even 12. Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the ServoTimer2 library to support as many servos as i want?
You'd need to look inside that library to answer your question.
However, with that many servos (and maybe more functionality to follow) I suspect you would benefit from offloading the servo signal generation to something like this:
OK thank you. I made a work around using the arduino mini pro. I am inputting the rf signal and then using the rx and tx communication from there. this way i can use the regular servo.h and on my mega use as many servos as i want.
