i recently hacked my futaba s3003 servos. they are not working right obviously. is there any really easy way to use my hacked servos as if they were not hacked. Like a line of code.
you need to provide more details, what exactly did you do to your servos? its like if i said, i have a car, i modified it, and now it doesn't work, what can i do to drive my car.
You disconnected the potentiometer, the servo has no way of knowing where it is anymore.
Yes, But like the servos can still go back and forth, like with this program

So i am not sure.
Yes, you can turn a motor on and off and reverse the direction. But it will not operate as a servo, defined as a motor that will go to a specified angle and stay there.
You need to read up on RC servos and then you'll understand why there isn't a line of code for this.
Think of this analogy: drive your car until the logo printed on your hubcap is facing upright. But don't look at the tire, the wheel, or the hubcap while doing that. Don't measure the distance you drive, don't measure the circumference of the tire, but if you think it will help, you can look at your watch.
Now, there ARE situations where you break a servo and turn it into a freewheeling device. And you can also know how far you're rotating it, when you decide to send pulses to it. Essentially, you're reinventing the stepper motor, and it's no longer a servo. But you're lacking an important part of the stepper motor: it goes a very predictable and tiny distance when you give it a pulse.
