Servo library that doesn't reset timer?

You seem to be asking questions about a totally different library.

If all you want to do is read 8 individual channels from an rc receiver and output 8 individual channels, start with the code example for 3 channels here -

There is no need to change anything in this code to get 3 channels in and out. Once you have this running, i will take you through adding the other five channels.

The post contains three file, a .h file, .cpp file and the test sketch.

I have had good luck with the sketch and have ran into small problems suiting to my purposes. The only real issue is that I'm unable to pass values into the serial monitor? The TX light on the arduino doesn't show any activity but I have three lines that say 3000 and the fourth says 28000. I have the board, serial port, and baud rate set properly. The serial monitor will be rather important later on but for now I only need to know the range of values that are updated to the servos. I would hate to assume that the range would be 0-180 degrees or -255-255.

I didn't make any changes to your test code other than fiximy the .cpp file.
