Servo motor 5V outdoor

I use a MG90S servo motor in a box to control the opening and closing of the 5cm cover with a hole. The motor is sheltered from the rain, but it is outside and will stop working after about 2 to 6 weeks. The sun is shining there, so even 40°C in the afternoon. In winter, on the contrary, sometimes even -10°C.
Can you recommend a servo motor that can handle outdoor temperatures? Ideally for 5V.

First try a sun shield i.e. like carrying an umbrella.

You are correct it is a bad motor choice. By using your link to the motor "Technical" specifications I found this:
Table 1. Overview of environmental specifications for Genelec products
parameter minimum maximum notes:
optimal ambient temperature, operating +20 oC +25 oC no condensation, stable
ambient temperature, operating +15 oC +35 oC no condensation, stable
ambient temperature, non-operating or storage
(other than MDF enclosures)
+5 oC +50 oC no condensation
ambient temperature, non-operating or storage
(MDF enclosures)
+15 oC +35 oC no condensation; observe the
humidity requirements
optimal target humidity, operating 40 % 60 % no condensation
humidity, operating
20 % 80 % no condensation
humidity, operating, MDF enclosures 40 %
60 % no condensation

From this I get the impression you are definitely mis applying the motor. Your failures are validating this. I am not in a position to make a product recommendation. There are two solutions I see, first put it in a container that will maintain all the ambient requirements or as you are looking for another unit that would be the best if you can find one.
