Servo motor for toilet

I need a servo motor that will last in the top of a toilet tank
I have been using MG966R which last about 12 to 18 months then I have to buy a new one
Any ideas
Thanks
Betty

And lots more like it

Ok. I'm curious. How do you use the servo? Do you use it to pull the flapper chain?

That is exactly it. There is a google home in the bathroom so everyone has to say
"ok google flush the toilet" then google flushes the toilet and replies "Holly that stinks"
Have it on both bathrooms.
They say the toilet flush is the dirtiest part of the bathroom

Hahahaha

How does the servo usually fail? Does it get wet or is it just from the moisture?

Just stops working the screws on the bottom that hold the housing together are rusted so bad cant use a screw driver on them to take it apart. Ive just bring replacing them with a $10 servo every 16 months or so. The 1st reply was for a water tight servo for 45 eros thats about 75 CND at that price i think ill just keep doing what im doing

You could try putting the servo itself into a separate small sealed container with a rubber grommet to pass your actuator through. That's not perfect but it should last a lot longer. Even a cheap little Rubbermaid container should help.

I have the server motor mounted on a 3-D printed bracket Not my room for Tupperware good Idea though I saw a YouTube video where someone sealed up The seams and the screws and put a small O ring Around the gear with some lube then compressed it when he put The lever on I'm going to give that a try

Get a small vice grip, lay it flat on the bottom of the tank, and use it to grip the tank bolt head from the side. Be sure it's clamped tight.
Now get up under the toilet and loosed the nut from the bottom.

Its the secrews on the servo motor

Ah
Have you checked aliexress for waterproof servos?
