Hi all,
As shown in the attached pic, the splines on my cheap hobby servos are about 5mm long.
To save me trawling the data sheets, is that a standard length? I'd be keen to supersize by 2-3mm seeing as I need to get better servos for the uArm anyway.

I've checked 3 different sizes of servo and the splines are 3.6mm and 2.6mm long.

Hmmm, so mine are already long?
Were those standard (40x20) servos you checked?

The 3.6mm was measured on a standard Hitec HS300.

They are tapered, note. Extra length wouldn't allow the servo horn to go further on therefore.
