Servos not moving

Hello. I am using an arduino uno with JavaScript, so i have johnny five and node js.

I am trying to program a robotic arm, and am currently practicing with only two servos to move simultaneously.

My wiring if fine.

My code seems to work: var five = require("johnny-five"), //initiate johnny-five module for javasscript and firmata interactions board, wheels; //state

board = new five.Board(); //call arduino board

board.on("ready" , function(){

//first servo var wheelsLeft = new five.Servo(9);

//second servo var wheelsRight = new five.Servo(10);

wheelsLeft.sweep(); wheelsRight.sweep(); });

However, my servos are not moving.

Would it be a problem of supplied power (connected to usb currently)?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum. http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html then look down to item #7 about how to post your code. It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

Thanks.. Tom.. :)

Even small servos need an amp or so each, and USB power is totally unsuitable to power servos and motors, you risk frying the computer suppling the power if you connect inductive loads - not worth the risk.
