Servos on arduino duemilanove

I'm trying to make a robot arm with 7 servo motors controlled by arduino. It says that you can attach 12 servo motors on arduino, but how, it only has 6 PWM pins?

Are u using any other board, like easy drive or just an arduino? Also, are all those servos powered independently???

No I'm not using other boards just Arduino. All those 7 servos are attached to the same power supply and ground (with arduino ground), and signal wires should be connected to the digital pins on Arduino, but i don't know how? I know that there is 6 PWM pins, but i need to know how can I attach 7? And can someone tell me if I can attach 2 servos to one PWM pin? Thanks!

And can someone tell me if I can attach 2 servos to one PWM pin? Thanks!

You should be able to connect two servo control lines to a single arduino control pin. The servos won't be individually controllable.

Don't use Arduino PWM to drive servos, use the Servo library

So you're telling me that you can connect a signal lead from servo to any arduino digital pin, and control it with servo library?

Pretty much, yes.
In fact, I don't think there's any reason you can't use the analogue pins too.

Well thank you very much guys!
