Setting one IDE window to a nano board and the other to an uno board

My problem is with the IDE. I cannot set boards separately i.e. I cannot have one IDE window for a nano board and the other for an uno board. It just sets the same board for all windows which is frustrating.

OF course you can! Just start another instance of the IDE. I have done it many times while testing NRF24 communication between two Nanos on my laptop.
