Setting one IDE window to a nano board and the other to an uno board

Got it! Thank you! I just didn't understand the lingo

Now I know, it seems like a stupid and prohibitively unintuitive way of doing things. Because most people compare it to things like a word document where if you click new, it opens a completely independent document to the other. They could have a plus icon for another tab to open new programs withing the same instance. I probably don't know enough and there is a sound reason why; but it's still annoying that something so simple took so long haha
