Setting SR Latch on QIACHIP receiver from transmitter input

Hi all, have a simple SR Latch setup - 2 transistors and 4 resistors with 2 LEDs for testing. Setup buttons on the board, confirmed its working.

Then I set it up with a transmitter and a receiver with 2 buttons on the transmitter side, and feeding the output of that channel to the base of the transistor on the receiver side. (
Note: qiachip tx/rx set has a built in channel system)

By default, those channels output high, setting both inputs to 1, and both test LEDs are lit. Pressing a button on the transmitter side will drop that to 0 on the receiver, and one of the LEDs will go off.

Of course I'm looking for the reverse of that functionality. If there is an obvious answer I apologize, I'm still learning. Thank you :blush:
