Hi guys,
I got two xbee pro series 2, one connected to the computer through a usb xbee explorer and the other one is connected to arduino dicimilanove.
I'm trying to control servos wirelessly but i think i'm loosing packets on the way, 'cause it only moves the servos 1 out of 5 times i send a command.
so, i'm thinking maybe i forgot to configure something on the xbee, could anyone please tell me some things to check?
xbee's are pretty reliable, have you tried running the code with the arduino directly connected to the computer to see if its your code causing the problem?
Hi mem, i have tried it out connected directly to the computer and it works fine.
I followed this tutorial (you could look a the code there too) and works just fine, but when connected trough xbee not much luck.
I was wondering if maybe settings like flow control and stuff should be disabled or so.
any other thoughts will be much appreciated,
regards.
I'm a little more confused now, if I put the coordinator on the arduino, and the end device on the computer it works a lot better, pretty good by the way.
No idea why
Perhaps the problem could be with the radio signal. Make sure that there is nothing conductive very close to either antenna.
I'd be interested to hear peoples' experience with the Xbee's range in the home. I've seen the occasional loss of a few bytes with Xbees situated about 3m apart, through walls and ceiling.
does anyone knows how many byte you can send at once?? and what would be the optimum # of bytes if any??
thanks, and sorry my ignorance about this one :-?
