Severino S3V3 control 1 Servo (jitter and delay)

i;m using s3v3 severino board.
http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1265685755

external power supply for servo.
dc adapter 5.6V for severino.

i used the sweep program.

but i had to wait for 40secs,
before the servo rotates 0-180deg (back n forth) like it should.
during the 40secs, there were jitters every 10secs.

why is there jitters?
why i have to wait for 40secs?

ey guys!!!

please help!

ive now noticed too.
that fading(LED) and sweep(servo) programs cannot work.

BUT, the simple blink program could.

hmmmm???

Did you tie the grounds of the power supplies together? Also, you didn't mention the voltage/current ratings of the servo power supply; should be 6V and around 1 amp or greater for standard servos.

it's rated 4.8V - 6.0V(max) @ the manual.
yes, did tie both GND connection, motor -ve and Arduino -ve, so that they're common.

i've given up on my severino. i will purchase a new Arduino Mega @ www.myduino.com from i come from (cheapest in Malaysia) :frowning:
and there's no stock for Duemilanove.
