Sevos don't work.

Hello, so I am doing a project that requires the control of 3 servos and a stepper with potentiometers. Now, it was all going fine, but suddenly now, the servos do not function at all. Stepper is fine, but servo wont even turn on and apply torque to keep its position. What could be the problem? Did I somehow manage to break all three servos?

What’s the common denominator to the three servos?

For example if you powered them from the same supply (but not the Arduino, which everyone here will tell you you should have done) then maybe you need to look at the power… loose wires (especially the common ground from servos to Arduino because without that the signals from the Arduino to the servos have no 0 reference and are meaningless), flat batteries etc etc.

You also ought to post a schematic and or photo of your hardware. You should have something similar to the attached pic.

Now, it was all going fine, but suddenly now, the servos do not function at all

check your wires and connections.

facepalm I connected 5 V to signal and vice versa. All works now. Thanks!!

I am sorry but
let me ask about your mention

and a stepper with potentiometers

which exactly steppers and encoders do you use ?
