Hi,
so I've been working with the sg90 servos and one thing I noticed is that every time I disconnect then reconnect the power and ground lines its moves momentarily randomly.
has anyone come across the same problem? if yes, is there any way of preventing that?
forgot to add... the momentary movement happens whenever I plug the servo into to my arduino uno
red wire - UNO 5V
brn wire - UNO GND
org wire - UNO pin 7
If it's just a small movement it's normal and unavoidable. When it is powered up the servo will do a small move just to check that it is correctly positioned.

Don't do that!
All connected modules should be powered up simultaneously, and wiring should be changed only when the power is off. You can easily destroy your Arduino if you do not follow this rule.
I have some analog HobbyKing servos that move a short distance clockwise everytime they are powered up. If you re-power them multiple times without giving a command to re-position the servo arm they can get to the end-stop and try to push against it - which is NOT good for them. This could also happen if the servo had been close to the end-stop after the final commanded movement before it wad depowered.
I asked HobbyKing about this and their guy said that the digital servos don't do this. I do have a few of their digital servos which do not move at startup which seems to confirm his advice.
