Sh*tty

Snowy, Sticky, Sh*tty.

Hope they are warm inside!

Ours is finally melting after two weeks...But hold on cos I know it will be back with a vengeance.

Nice pic BTW

looks like a lovely won’t scene.

My wife said it’s wonderful to see the freshly fallen snow.

Well it’s be 3 days of freshly fallen (wet) snow and guess who had to move it 3 times.

:fearful:

I feel for you Larry.
Only had the snowblower out twice here so far.

Made a cord winder and got out the leaf blower (the blower works great on powdered snow!).

Really wish we only got powdered stuff as it would make life so much easier.
Also wish my garage looked as tidy as yours LOL

If he's like me he just tidied up a corner for the photo and then put all the rubbish back where it could be found when needed (sometime before the next millennium).

Shove ?

Nah not me machine is 28" wide 5 fwd speed and 2 rev speed with heated handles on mine...In 5th it drags me across the lawn and next doors too.
No I don't clear the lawn but I can throw the snow almost two doors down LOL.

Bob.

I presume that should be "shovel"

Maybe the reluctance to use a torch has something to do with keeping the carbon footprint down.

Though I can see how people with that much snow might welcome a bit of global warming.

Hi,
Summer isn't here yet but already had massive bushfires, casualties and homes lost.
Queensland and New South Wales.

Conditions so bad, aerial firefighting equipment grounded in some areas.
Very lucky in my part of the country, so far....

Talk about sh*tty.

That must be absolutely devastating.

Hi,
Luckily I have never experienced a bushfire, grass fire yes.
Grassfire lots of blindingsmoke, flames on the ground and if the wind is strong enough fireballs lighting fires up to 1km down wind.
Bushfire just as leathal, but in 3D, flames above, massive amounts of RADIANT HEAT.
The firefighter (probably a volunteer) is not wearing that yellow suit so he can be seen, but it still must be boiling wearing it.

Tom.. :o

In the north country I remember first snow ended the smell of manure on the fields. I've gone trick or treating in 10 inches of snow and yeah I know there were kids in Alaska who must have gone first day to school in at least 12.

After an early heavy snow storm in November (6-7 inches), all I've gotten were dusting and at most 1/2 inch (2 cm), and those usually melted over the next few days. Christmas is under 2 weeks and I am hoping for a white one this year, the last 3 years weren't white at all.

Toy for last and this month, then it will be to hot for anything to grow and I'll have a dust bowl.
Ahh.. a classic VICTA, could turn real grass into real lawn, and an Australian invention.
It even had a WORKING throttle, not the set and forget horrible buzzing things you get today.
Hand mixed two stroke, lots of blue smoke and classic noise.

Deluxe model, retracting starter cord.

Too hot? Let me guess, down south in a former prison continent?
