SH1740T2PA Buzzer Tension and AC or DC to GPIO

Hya,

i have a device with a SH1740T2PA Buzzer feeded by a 501B-8P circuit, pins 5 CLK output and 6 S0. I seached and didn't find it's datasheet. How to make sure the tension and if it's AC or DC?

I need to tap from this buzzer to a GPIO of a D1 MINI.

Thx in advance.

Arduinos only output 5V or 3v3, depending on they type of processor.
Also you can get DC or pulsed (PWM) DC. If you want AC then connect to the buzzer through a capacitor.

yes, sure, arduino gpios only takes 5V or 3V3.

i was questioning about the SH1740T2PA Buzzer, as i didn't find the datasheet anywhere, if it's an AC or DC buzzer.

Odd because I got lots of hits for this part on the first page of a search.

Here is one:-

You can download a data sheet from this page.

Those are the wrong words to use. You should use the words "Active buzzer" for one that uses only a DC voltage to sound it or stop the sound. Or a "Passive buzzer" for one that requires an AC signal in order to make it sound.

This is easy to do an experiment your self. Just connect the buzzer briefly between 3V3 and ground. Then if it makes a sound then it is an active buzzer, if not it is a passive one.

@Grumpy_Mike indeed, for PS1740Pa i also found. Is it the same as the SH1740T2PA?

And thx for the hint. I will try.
