Shareable control interface

Hey everyone,

Looking into creating a residentially-used gate relay for the entrance of apartment blocks - hardware is designed and wired up as a nodeMCU relay device - working fine. Wondering what the best collaborative, but simple, control method would be. Preferably linked into WhatsApp however Twilio's sandbox only lasts 3 days and the use-frequency goes beyond what CallMeBot API offers.

Wondering if there's any access control methods such as what's described above that I could use. Basically require sharing access to momentarily open the relay, something that's preferably free, and easy to set up and manage.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated in advance.

Thanks!

What is your plan to allow emergency services access?

Fire alarm system is already wired into the gate as override, site is manned 24/7 for any other emergencies. Just need a resident-level access system.

So a system that has a use frequency of ???????

415 rooms, 35 of which have parking spots, which drive in and out multiple times daily. 25 messages per 4 hours which CallMeBot offers isn't enough.
