Sharing Power Supply between 5 (Arduinos+EthernetShield) Units, POSSIBLE?

Hi all, I am trying to minimize the number of cable for an installation I am working on at the moment, and after doing some research on the web I haven´t been able to find the answer.

is it possible to share the same power supply for FIVE (Arduinos+EthernetShield) Units?
what kind of power adapter is needed?

I would really appreciate some ideas on how to connect them,

Ok, in case anyone is trying the same thing I am investigating using a Multi Power Supply up to 5 outputs of 9vdc and 500mA each (this would be enough for each Arduino Uno).

I will post my findings one I have it all sorted out.

Of course, I am open to any suggestions!
