Hello, first post on this forum.
I'm currently trying to work with the IR LED and receiver from the Shield-Bot kit, and everything is working as it should be using the Arduino code except for the part that I can't seem to get the sensor to work unless the receiver and the LED are next to each other and facing past each other (one is facing left, the other is facing right, but they are both next to each other vertically). The values are 0 when I bounce the IR back with my hand toward the receiver (for some reason the receiver is picking up the signal when it is facing the other way) and 1 when I move my hand away. Does anyone have an idea of what might be the cause?
Also, as a side problem, I need to translate the tone function over into C as PWM, and was wondering if I could get help in that here or in another section.
