Shift Register CD4014 , How to program to get suffecient DAC ?

Hello,

Guys i got this chip CD4014 to connect it to R2R resistor ladder.
At A0 a microphone+amplifier circuit output is connected to it. I want to process the speech and get it out again. But i dont really know how to program this CD4014 i dont get the truth table in the datasheet and how to setup the clock (if setup is needed). I never used a shift register before. Please help

That part is a parallel-in, serial-out shift register.
If you are trying to drive an R2R ladder to create an analog output, then you need a
serial-in, parallel-out shift register, such as 74HC595.
