Shift Voltage Range for Analog Read Range

Hi all,

The project I am working involves reading a voltage that can be in the range of -2 to 3V, on the Analog Port, which can only pick up voltages ranging from 0-5V. Colleagues of mine have suggested using a diode clamp, op amp, or a Voltage divider. I was hoping someone could give me a suggestions on which set up would work best for my application, as well as where I can look for exact specs for accomplishing this.

You can but you will need to power your op amp with voltages that are greater than the range of voltages seen by the input.
