Shock Sensor PS1 as glass break sensor

Hi, I wanted to use a shock sensor (http://www.conrad.com/ce/en/product/182285/SHOCK-SENSOR-PS-1-Shock-Sensor-Splash-protection?queryFromSuggest=true) as a glass break detector.

When i connect the sensor with my arduino i don't get any signal when I produce a shock on the sensor. I connected 1 wire of the shock sensor with ground and the other one with a digital input pin on my arduino that has its internal pull-up resistor activated.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Use an analog input for the signal and 3V3 for the other end. ( I believe this sensor delivers a low AC voltage.)

The data sheet on the product page indicates that this is a piezo sensor, so I would connect a 1 megohm resistor across the leads, connect the braided shield to ground and the other to an analog input. Google "arduino piezo sensor" for more info.
