Short-circuited Arduino Uno

Hi,

I'm new to these forums and to Arduino. I have an Arduino Uno which I'm using for a sumo bot.

I might have short-circuited it somehow and I'm pretty sure I wrecked it.
The unusual thing it does when I power it is the RX LED turns on and is only slightly lit. Maybe less than half it's normal power.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior from the RX LED?
Can I do anything with it or is it just too far gone?

I appreciate any kind of help or advice.

it Sounds bad you may give http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,73748.0.html a shot, and see what happens. But it doesn't sound promising :frowning:

It might be worthwhile working out what went wrong, so it doesn't happen again. But if you know there was an "oops" moment, then you don't need to bother.
