Should i buy arduino uno or mega with my set?

Hi. I am planing to have 2 pcs of 4 digit 7 segment display and one tranciever card. Is there enough pin in Uno for them or should i buy mega?

What transceiver card? Post a link please.

For the displays alone, if they are bare led displays, neither Uno or mega can drive them without extra components. Post a link to the displays you want to buy.

If you plan this properly, you only need three wires for the LEDs, so a Uno probably suffices.

Use the Max7219 chip to drive these, you can drive two displays with one chip.
Mind you that is a hell of a price for a seven segment LED display. You should be able to get them much cheaper than that.

The price is for 10 displays. Perhaps the OP wants to construct several devices.

@OP: At checkout, you can choose common anode or common cathode. Common cathode is easier to use, whether you use max7219 or most other chips.

thank you for answers. this display is also bigger than others 0.8 inch.

USD 13 for 10 pcs of 4-letter displays doesn't sound that bad (I hope I understand this properly).

I also see the module has 12 pins, which means some form of multiplexing is going on there (there are total 32 segments including the digital points).

Sorry I missed that it was for 10 pieces. Back into the reasonable price range.

The type is unclear, you need to check. The 7219 drives common cathode.
