Should it be COM 3?

I am walking through the step-by-step instructions from the guide book from the starterkit, and under the setting up section they walk you through how to install the IDE.
Part of that I have to go into the device manager, and then they say the arduino should be in "Other devices" or "Unknown devices" but I cant find such a category or similar.
Then on step 7 they say that you should find the arduino under "Ports (COM & LPT)" as "Arduino UNO (COM4)" but mine says "Arduino Uno (COM3)". Is it important that it should be COM 4?

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, if you want more specs just ask.

It matters not as long as your OS has found it.
The instructions were probbly not written for windoze 7.
