There are many ways to compress images. RLE is very simple. It works well with silhouette images.

But first off. Make a nice cup of tea. Think about how many different animations you want. And how many frames.

You might also look at the size of an animated GIF file. i.e. play around with EZGIF. Look at "photographic" animations. And simple graphics like your jumping man.

Have you tried cropping the "jumping man" so that it fits in 32x64 ?

I have other things to do. You should be able to experiment for yourself. Understand the size and complexity of an image.

I am happy to help you code something. But only after you have done some investigation by yourself.
