Hi,
I like to change the address of the SHT31. Often it is shipped with 0x44 (default).
As I read from the manual PIN 2 has to be connected to either logic high or logic low.
The board I currently use connects it to logic low via a 10k resistor.
Do I also have to use this 10k resistor when connecting to high ?
Why do I principally have to use a resistor when connecting it to either of the levels ?
Thanks
According to datasheet page 8, you don't need it, probably, the module maker put it in just for safety's sake, shouldn't make a difference.
Thanks outsider for your very quick response.
I'll give it a try without a resistor and be back if it worked.
I wired from the address PIN (ADDR) directly to logic high without a resistor and then had 0x45 as address.
