si4735 Radio Shield - getResponse not working

Hi,

I am trying the getResponse command using the si4735 shield and the library by trunet (SerialExample):

I have read there are a few faults with this shield, and have followed this thread to add the diode:

Even with the diode, I am still getting a response of 80 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

Any ideas how I can resolve this? Or an alternative shield?

Hello Parko,
i am stuck with the same problem, i did the diode modification but i still receive only 0's. Did you manage to find a solution in the meanwhile?
