I have just has a Tado heating control system installed and am having problems with the signal between the Internet bridge and the TRVs/Wireless Temperature Sensors. they run on 868 MHz using the IPv6 enabled “6LoWPAN” protocol.
I have a large old farmhouse with very thick walls, this combined with the amount of devices connected and other potential interference from Hue lights/WiFi etc some of the devices cannot communicate.
my question is is there anyway to boost or relay the signal between the internet bridge and the sensors using an Arduino and relevant shield?
does anyone boost this frequency for any other application?
thanks for the reply, not sure I can crack into the Tado Internet Bridge to change antennas, likewise for the TRVs and Wireless Temperature Sensor, they are all sealed units with warranty
