Sim7020 and Mega2560 for IoT...need help please

Hi there,
I'm trying to connect a Arduino Mega2560 to a development board SIM7020E

...but I need help to hardware connection and how to test communication to Vodafone IoT network (I have a enabled SIMCard from Vodafone New Zealand).
First time in front of IoT and even googleing I found always same example using MKR and T-Mobile.
Any BASIC recommendations just to right hardware connection and IoT network tests ?.
