Anyone here have had issues with v2.2 ?
I got couple and both are not working. One red LED is solid and another one keeps on blinking. I connected it via 5V from Arduino UNO.
I have even replaced the capacitor (1000uf 6v) with 2200uf 25v but still no good.
Any idea?

I had the same issue when i started working with SIM800L EVB v2.2. you tried at first to verify if you are using a sim card with pin code. if yes, you should deactivated or using the program code of entering the pin code.
