My first time using anything Arduino. Simhub told me that the chip was a fake and it may not work right, but I decided to continue. I ran the bootloader an it says it installed correctly so I figure I'm ok. After the bootloader runs, Simhub shows the Arduino Nano as a Simhub Dash...
I am only trying to run a short string of LEDs. The computer is Windows 11. What should I do.
I moved your topic to an appropriate forum category @dejaview.
In the future, please take some time to pick the forum category that best suits the subject of your topic. There is an "About the _____ category" topic at the top of each category that explains its purpose.
Do you have any reason to think that is a problem? If so, please reply here with a detailed description of why it is a problem.
If you don't have any specific reason to think it is a problem then I recommend you just carry on with your project. There is a good chance this is the normal and expected result.
Keep in mind that, although very knowledgeable about Arduino in general, the helpers here don't necessarily have any experience with SimHub. Those helpers might still be able to help you with any parts of your project that don't require SimHub experience so it is a good idea to provide enough information that someone who doesn't already work with SimHub can understand what you are trying to accomplish and what problems you are having accomplishing it.
Thanks for the response. Firstly, Simhub is a software that allows you to add external hardware to a simulator, such as a flight simulator or a racing simulator. The software allows you to control the external hardware (suchas a strip of LEDs) to respond to certain inputs, suchas a tachometer. The LEDs do not respond to the inputs they are associated with. In fact they don't light up at ll.
