Hi All, i am newbee in electronics i wanted to build a similar product like denali CANsmart using esp32 and 2 channel relay module for my bike aux lights. Why i wanted to do that, is denali product is very costly hence taught of do it by myself. Need exp knowledge from the team is itpossible using Esp32.
Posting links to your references always helps us help you.
Interesting project but we are not a free design or code writing service. We will be happy help out with your design and or code but first you have to make an attempt to design it, write it, post it and explain what is not working properly.
If there is hardware it is always best to post links to technical information as there are many versions of the same or different items. Since we cannot see your project, my eyes are to weak, you need to post using the language of electronics, an annotated schematic the language of electronics, (best) or a clear picture of a drawing. Pictures never hurt. Frizzing diagrams are not considered schematics here, they are wiring diagrams.
I suspect your biggest challenge will be the physical packaging.
Commercial systems most likely use a custom circuit board that is potted to provide water profing and vibration isolation. You will be working with off the shelf components and so the physical size will probably be double that. Will there be room?
Hello replytosyed
Welcome to the best Arduino forum ever.
It is always very wise to start with a block diagram to identify the interfaces with the physical and logical characteristics for the project.
Yes i have the room , i was just exploring the esp32 module and found that we can use the same module without the relay switch. Here is my plan, i will be using dpdt switch to control the dimmer and bright part of the lamp and the esp32 module will need 3.3 v as input hence will use a mosfet transistor. Is my understanding correct
Depends on the electrical characteristics of the lights. Post a link to the manufacturers data sheet.
LED lights usually contain a driver board which makes things more complicated compared to old style lights that use incandescent bulbs.
