Simple Arduino Balancing Robot?

Is there anyway to make a simple Arduino Balancing Robot?

I've been searching for pieces of code for similar projects, but I cannot understand any of them since they seem to have been constructed by people with a much larger understanding of the C language. I currently have the GY-521 6DOF sensor, but I have no idea how to properly implement it or what to use in order to control the motors for balancing.

Is there anything simpler? I have to present a functional product in two weeks and I won't have the time to read through 20 websites.

If you don't have time to read up on other people's projects you certainly don't have time to create your own.

Instead of studying for finals, what about just going to the Bahamas and catching some rays? Maybe you'll flunk, but you might have flunked anyway; that's my point. - Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy

If you want to make a "simple" self balancing two wheeled bot, look at my project below. It was "self balancing" by keeping the center of gravity a little below the center line of the wheels. Keep the heavy stuff as low as possible.

Check out that, doesn't even use an arduino, so it would probably be as simple as you can get. Although you could probably change it a little to include the arduino if you like?
