Simple robot

can some one point me in the right direction . I would like to use my ardunio (new) as a simple robot i have three servos (360deg) and a Sharp GP2d12 sensor I need to find some simple code to use it as obstical aviod using the sensor on a sweep servo I would expect to use 6 for sweep and 9-10 for servos wheels Digital PWM outputs and the sensor on analog in 0

Thank you for any assistance

I need to find some simple code to use it

Here's a start:

const int sensorPin = 0;
const int servo1Pin = 9;
const int servo2Pin = 10;
const int sweepPin = 6;

void setup()
{
  Serial.begin(115200);
}

void loop()
{
}

You'll make several copies of this, and add bits and pieces to loop(), to read data from the sensor, to sweep the servo, to spin the two other servos, etc.

When all those pieces work, you can begin combining them into a single sketch that makes the robot move while avoiding robots. As is, the robot will avoid any obstacle except stuff dropped on it.

I would expect to use 6 for sweep and 9-10 for servos wheels Digital PWM outputs

Don't use PWM, use PPM from the Servo library.

Sharp GP2d12 sensor

Add the word Arduino to that and Google can be a big help.

Quite so. http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,72188.msg540276.html#msg540276
