simplest clothing volume sensor?

I am trying to build a sensor, or to be more particular, a set of (clothing) sensors that when pushed will alter the volume of a device, i.e. a computer or ipod. The direction I am headed is hooking up the arduino to max. The end result I'd like to have is to have the sensor(s) possibly stitched onto a sleeve and by sliding your finger over the sensors will turn up and down the volume of the computer. Does anybody know any tutorials of something similar to this? I've seen many tutorials on pressure sensors but I'm not sure if this is what I need. Does anybody know of any main-stream store that sell the conductive thread that I would need to complete this? Any suggestions/input is greatly appreciated.

where do you live?

I found a shop in sweden which sells conductive thread.

Look at http://www.electrokit.se/

Search Results for thread - SparkFun Electronics also has thread, but in Europe the customs would make it very expensive to buy there
