Hi there,
I have a Arduino R4 WiFi with a Can-Bus Shield and I am in the process of reverse-engineering the values of the Exhaust Gas Temperature sensors in my vehicle, many/all of those will be of the RTD type. I have read some excellent post about that task in this forum.
But what about the flipside - simulating a RTD sensor, having only 2 cables, sending calculated data on different 2 cables to the ECU, which thinks, they come from a RTD EGT sensor. Has anyone experience with that? What kind of signals do I need to send on those 2 cables to the ECU? What hardware do I need for this job? The same as for the reading task, a 3k3 pullup resistor a/o an Ardafruit PT100(0) (although those sensors have typically 200ohms at 0°C)?
I would appreciate any kind of feedback - many thanks!
