Simultaneous wav files with arduino (Voice Shield)

Hey everyone,

Im Fil and Im new to these forums. (Crowd: "Hiiiiiii Fillllll")

Alright, now that we've got that introduction out of the way, Ive been working on a project for a class that uses an arduino, a stacked voice shield (If you google [spikenzielabs voice shield] its the second item. the forums wont let me post a link >:( ), and wav files. We are producing a glove with FSRs at the tips of each finger that will trigger drum sounds. So here's our dilema...

As we've found out (with the current set up), the arduino does not like to play multiple sounds at once. Whenever a FSR is pressed, a sound is played, but if two FSRs are pressed, both sounds definitely do not play.

The rest of the group and I are pretty new to the whole arduino game, so we definitely dont know all the 'Do's and 'Dont's for arduinos.

If anyone has any insight into playing multiple sounds (3+ would be nice) with the arduino and voice shield, please help me out here!

Thanks a ton alll!
