Ahhh I see it's refering to the byte size. Sorry new to this stuff.

Do I need to assign a pin on the arduino to the IR Transmitter if so where abouts do I add that?

Read the comment at the top of the IRsendDemo that comes with the library :wink: It uses pin 3.
